Concrete stairs with step lights between smooth stucco walls at night

Concrete Patios, Steps, Slabs & Flooring

We form, reinforce, pour and finish concrete for patios, steps, slabs and floors. The work starts with a compacted base and rebar, not just a smooth top.

Concrete Construction

Built right, start to finish

Concrete is the right choice for a lot of projects: stairs on a slope, a clean modern patio, a garage or shed slab, or a floor that needs to carry weight. We handle the full job, from forms and reinforcement to the finish and the control joints that keep cracks where they belong.

We also pour concrete stairs with recessed step lights and finish walls in stucco, so stairways and courtyards look like part of the architecture.

Our process

How we build it

  1. Plan & quote

We confirm thickness, reinforcement and finish, and check for permit needs.

  2. Excavate & base

We dig to depth and compact a gravel base.

  3. Forms & steel

Forms are set to grade and rebar or mesh is placed on chairs.

  4. Pour & finish

The pour is placed, screeded and finished, with control joints cut at the right spacing.

  5. Cure & strip

We cure the slab, strip forms, backfill edges and clean up.

FAQ

Concrete Construction questions

Will my new concrete crack?

All concrete shrinks as it cures. Control joints, reinforcement and a compacted base make sure any cracking happens in the joints rather than across the slab.

How long before I can walk or drive on new concrete?

Foot traffic is usually fine after 24 to 48 hours. Wait about 7 days for cars and longer for heavy vehicles.

Do you do interior concrete floors?

Yes, we pour and level concrete floor slabs for garages, additions and ground-floor rooms, ready for tile, wood or a sealed finish.
